    You can decide if they are trash or treasure but they are modern if that helps form a decision.

    the good thing is you've picked them up and won't detect them next time . keep at it and you'll find something that's treasure for sure.

    Looks like a snap on Joiner cover off a hydronic heat baseboard cover. The aluminum piece looks to be a piece of a fin from the same.

    As the old saying goes, "One man's trash is another man's treasure"

    I have dug a mountain of trash over the years, some of which I thought was pretty cool, so I kept it.
    To see what I mean, take a look at my previous post: All things represent a part of history .. Vintage tins, etc. are no exception.
