Finds from Spain - can anyone tell me more?

I dug these a few years ago at several old farm/construction sites on the outskirts of Madrid. These sites were all within a couple miles of each other. Some are obviously Spanish and French and I'm guessing from the time of Napoleon. Can anyone provide additional information on age, country, units.... Thanks

the first three buttons are cast (pewter) and slightly convex. I've included a pic of one back which is typical of all three.

Yep it is Napoleonic military buttons from the Napoleonic era. With a little research you could put the units to the location. Nice finds.

Sorry Joe. This one I can't help you with since I have never been in Spain.

This is a great site. One could spend days on it.

the flaming bomb is a known symbol ( used by the british--maybe others too)-- the castle and loin on the sheild is spanish symbol without a doubt --the flur de lis --while thought of as "french" symbol was in fact used heavily by the spanish after the french line of the family took over the spanish crown --early 1700's
