Yep it is Napoleonic military buttons from the Napoleonic era. With a little research you could put the units to the location. Nice finds.

the flaming bomb is a known symbol ( used by the british--maybe others too)-- the castle and loin on the sheild is spanish symbol without a doubt --the flur de lis --while thought of as "french" symbol was in fact used heavily by the spanish after the french line of the family took over the spanish crown --early 1700's
