    need help to identify coin found at a late 1600's early 1700's homesite

    I found this coin this past spring and just recently cleaned it up ,its about the size of a dime and appears to have been clipped on one side , I have found all sorts of item there which I will post soon . I have done alittle research and was thinking maybe spanish cob or something along those lines . Any help is appreciatted .

    Bottom picture looks like a date 16?? across the middle. Can you see it by eye, the picture is not good enough for me to make out.
