This is for new buyer of the mxt all pro /pro owners.
When you turn on the detector what version of software number is displayed? Ex. V1.0 etc. And when was the detector bought or made?

I think you'll find they are all the same.

I have a 2011 mxt pro and the software version is 1.0

Thanks for the response. I talked to White's and was told that the software on the machine is the same today as it was when the machine debuted, version 1.0
I had bought a used MXT pro used several weeks ago and so far I really like it, but it is heavier than my MX5. As performance on the beach it's the same as my MX5. The VDI numbers are the same but you also get a littler more info on the target, like how likely it's going to be a pull-tab or a nickle (a steady 20 is always a nickle and 22 is a pull-tab).
