Been cleaning up my stuff from this year and need help with any identification of these Military Buttons. They were all found in Spokane at Manito Park (Est 1907) Any help would be greatly appreciated. The top 2 Left one is rusted can't read and right one is missing back. Any ideas on dates?
First time out prospecting today and really have no idea what I'm doing, but we did find what i guess is a lot of black sand after running 1 - 5 gallon bucket. Problem is after panning what we kept from the sluice I can't seem to find any gold???

Hey ya'll. Going to Spokane, WA this summer to visit the grandkids and want to take them somewhere to pan for gold and look for gems. Any recommendations? I'm new to this, don't know a lot about it, but my grandson loves to look at rocks!
