Besides some clad, I found this Buffalo Nickel. It's my very first one. I found it where they were digging up an old sidewalk. It was caked in dirt and green patina. It was so bad I couldnt' even tell it was a ncikel except fro how it rang up on the MXT.
Took a tumbler to it a couple of times and it's at least recognizable. Lokks like a 1925.

I discriminate just above the iron setting. I don't have a problem finding nickels with my MXT. They ring up +12 - +14. I find pull tabs ring +32 - +47 unless they are very close to the surface, then they ring up +18 - +20.
