Stopped at one of my weekly stops on the way to work this morning.

They apparently have been running a lot of coin this week (probably due to tax time).

Ended up picking up:
1 - $1000 bag of dimes
1 - $200 bag of nickels
4 - $50 bags of pennies

As I was loading the trunk, I noticed wheat ears staring at me through the clear plastic bag so I manipulated the coin inside the bag to flip it over so I could read the date out of curiousity...

1909 and in pretty good shape too. (hoping that's a sign of things to come).

From what I could tell there wasn't a VDB on it, but again this was a quick glance through the plastic bag and the lighting in my trunk is not the greatest so I guess I won't know for sure until later. The only thing I am sure of is no 'S' mintmark.

They had another $1000 bag of dimes, but as I just paid my taxes I didn't have the cash for it so hopefully I got the better bag as the remaining one will be shipped out tomorrow.

Well I guess I was wrong....it was a 1909 VDB in about F-12 to VF-20 condition.

Too tired to update on the rest tonight...maybe tomorrow
