Made a deal with guys if we spend a couple days just hiking around the desert, visiting mines. half the day the other half digging and prospecting.
here are some pics of our walkabout to the Old Sweede mine, a visit to our crystal dig got a few water clears and some small clusters, some shots from the top of the Eastsides.

With time being our most precious commodity and Hardrock ? well its just hard work, we are just trying to knock out as much prospecting as we can before I get to Damn old to walk in any more !
No time for drinking right now, we will have that hullaballoo when we get our pile finished and our mill built.

You spend a day with us rob we will cure of that dirty habit! Swing,n.... The area we are at is out by the joshua tree park google sweede you can see our trails out in this area. We worked for many years out in the hills of this area hard rock prospecting, we finished up this year, and we wanted to go out see the ole sweede one more time, they are going to close our area soon i fear. So we are Off chasing those dadgum fissure veins while we still can, these guys are very hard to find, follow and mine and the pay is very spotty in the vein ,butt when it enriches it can get really good only way to find out is to do some scrabbling In the dirt! I love my little trail dog!

Hey Herb, speaking of Joshua Tree has there been any change in the politics concerning the annex of Gold Park/Virginia Dale into the national park? Last I heard it created such a backlash from local government and multiple user groups that the environmentalists went into full retreat(for now) on the issue. I would like to get your take on this serious issue.

. Dont get much into politics, when I seen the signs go up couple years back i had a feeling would be closed, the dale that is. if you were to ask me the gold park is gone they will take it, I would be supprised if they don't.
The last time they put up signs we lost 95% of our public lands in calif left us hard rock prospectors with very-little open lands. That's why we are hitting it so hard right now, tomorow it will be to late.
