£1.21 - 5" & Not £1000!

Hello all
At the park today & it was empty. In the car we only had my £5 handheld detector I use for sticking in holes as I wasnt planning a search. My son wanted me to get it...... I was surprised how effective it was!!

First buzz was too big to dig out with the penknife I had but think it was a steel pole:

Steel Pole - 5" deep
Hair Clip - 2" deep
Iron piece - 3" deep
Coins - 2-3" deep
Knife - 4" deep
Tent Peg - 1" deep
Shrapenel? - 4" deep

I just want to show that even the cheapest detectors can be fun. Its cost £5 & I found £1.21! I am going to re-scan the area with my Ace 250 and see what happens ;)
