We had a fun hunt yesterday. We dug a few bullets and Pat dug his very first and second ever bullets! Congrats to him, he has picked up relic hunting like a Duck in water! I dug a lead bar that had W.C. Co'S stamped on it. It looks really old and is from the same area the other bullets and CW relics are being dug. I dug a 72 caliber round ball, dadgum I would hate to get nicked by that one! Also dug a Couple bullet firsts for me, the 2 two ringers are rare for around here, I have probably dug 4 or 5000 bullets and never dug one of those! The rectangle piece has the name Ida Van Warner stamped on it, not sure if it is period or not. The spoon has Oneida community stamped on it. We all had a great time and than it got cold again, supposed to be cold most the week with a chance for some ice in a few days. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Tim
