Wife just bought the Gold Bug from Fisher....she has been dieing to try it along with her new Garrett Carrot pointer. Had a fun day out for her first trip with it.

I actually left my Land Ranger Pro on the ground...as the 11DD does not do great at iron infested sites. Grabbed my sons Bounty Hunter Gold Digger...which did great. $60-70 machine that passes Montes nail board test with flying colors....and a recovery speed that matches any Tesoro or XP. I love this "toy" machine...I'll never sell it.

Anyways...onto the finds...nothing super rad...but the fun is what we always look for and find.

Wheel caster....1928 Chevy radiator badge....Woodburys beauty cream cap from the 20's....some small tack nails...and old fork....old EverReady razor end.

Pictures and a Youtube video....take your pick. Enjoy!

TH, Ya know what the best part of this hunt was?
Not the choice of Machines, although they were excellent.
Not the location.
Not the finds--------------------------they were great though.
It was being out with the one you love and sharing these moments together.
Cherish them my Friend.

Thanks Marvin. The only thing I love more than detecting is doing ANYTHING with the wife and kids! The fact they love MDing and gold prospecting is icing on the cake.
I cherish every moment I can.

Very cool finds,
Nice variety,
Excellent time together
Congrats

Thanks atw!

Man, any day you can spend with a spouse and BOTH enjoy yourselves is a golden moment, my friend. Congrats on that!

The finds are pretty neat, too. Is that a Chevrolet symbol?

Thanks Skippy. Married for 16 years and loving every minute of it.

1928 they started using the winged version. Pretty neat. Went to a radiator. Check this thread....TNET came through like always....
