Well that's it, number one hundred. Probably one of the roughest hammered coins, you can find . A debased (very debased) penny of Henry VIII. More copper than silver, can see why he was given the name copper nose !. Henry bankrupted England, with his wars, and lavish spending. He even robbed the silver from the coinage. Also found a very nice Medieval brooch about 14th Century. A what looks like maybe some type of pendant hanger, 13th/14th Century. A funny find was the naughty little, I think silver charm.

Robert.

I thought you had 100 last outing ??? Sorry for the early congrats then.... That annular brooch is amazing!

Nice! Instant medieval coin collection. Great job on some hard work.

You're suffering 500 years later from his womanizing. If he had stayed with one of his many wives your 100th may have been silver...

Just kidding. Great find and congrats on your big milestone!

I think I told you you'd dig 300 hammered this season and you said no way. Care to reconsider bud? Man you are KILLING IT

Congratulations on your 100th Hammered, now lets see you get 200, Good Luck!

Congrats! Your 100 hammered ahead of me!
