100 rolls of halves = 3 -40%

On to plan B. Im getting marked remnants of another searcher from
my supplier now. Sooo, this particular supplier is now gonna be a dump
service for a bit. Gonna try a new source at 4 boxes per week, and turn
this sucker around :)

I wish I could find out who it is/they are - Little do they know they are
covering up the biggest old silver hoard Ive ever found. I was into the Barbers,
Walkers and Franklins by the boxfull, and now I cant get back to the stash....
I just keep buying all the newest returns of others.

Whoever marks their halves with a big "V" on the face in black... I hate you :)
Just kiddin.

That bank may not be the dump bank where all those marked coins are being turned into. It may be a bank miles away or even counties.

Can you step up the amount of boxes you buy every week? You need to outbuy his/her deposits to bring down all those new boxes on top of the old ones.

Or bribe the brinks driver to pull from the bottom of the skid just for your bank. ;D

Cyberdan, I thought long and hard about that too. I'll never know
what the real story is, but I did think about "outbuying" the deposits,
just in case.

I considered that, then thought buying an extra $1000 per week could
work, but what if this wasnt the case at all. I already know 1000.00 per
week is gonna be bad - having 2k be bad would just plain stink LOL.

After much turmoil, I finally decided to both step up orders, and switch. Even
completely average boxes would be totally fine by me.

Bribing employees is on top of my list too ! (Plan C)

65GT, no Im in Western PA. Already know of one CRH here in the vicinity, Im sure
there are lots everywhere that none of us know about. Its a lost cause, so Ill
try this a while and see how she goes.

Didnt someone mention the "V" mark on here before ?

I've put a "V" on my returns before just to see if they come back, but mine are in the Portland. OR area.

It's also possible you finished off the pallet of older ones and are now working through the next pallet which contain loads of the marked ones you are referring to. As such buying more wouldn't change anything.

I am not positive how the coin rolling services do it, but based on the fact that box after box typically have the same date on them (or at least thats been my experience). I think they only roll new coins when they need to because they run out not when they get them back. If they rolled coins every time they got coins back the dates on the boxes would be more varied instead of a repeat of the same date for awhile.

Exactly what I think. That is why I am not to worried about dumping to the same bank. It could be months before they roll the returns. My theory is when your find a hot box double up on the next order. I don't see dates on my boxes

Good points and ideas everyone - thats most likely the case. Why
would they roll and do all new boxes ( labor), if they had a stock of
boxes lined up ready to go? That makes sense ! And so, I stepped
up quantity and kept the same ordering service.

Starting to feel better now :) Also, my boxes are not date marked in
any way either.

On a brighter note, I was in a town yesterday, that must have no coin hunters.
I picked up $1000 in hand rolled from various banks, and ran out of money
with more to be gotten. Produced 43 silvers. That will keep me satisfied
'till next week :)

Happy searchin'
