I have found about 3-4 SLQ's and no dates. The only one that had enough detail to have a date was in a fire and the date portion was burned .
Awesome, I love those cowboy quarters. If you turn the quarter upside down and looking at the reverse with the eagle wings pointing down cover up the body of the eagle with your thumb and you will see a running cowboy... Well at least his chaps. :P
Awesome first quarter find. The 1925 to 1930 SLQ's are more likely to have a good date due to a design change. Most of your dateless SLQ's will be the pre 1925 and on the first two years there were no stars below the eagle. I usually find S and D mint dateless ones and all the pre 25 D's and S's are good finds, figures.
That's an awesome first silver quarter. It's in great condition and not heavily circulated like most that are found.Congrats! You must of called it quits right after you dug it.Heck...I would of stayed and tried for another 15 minutes. HH!
WOW Brush Creek. I am going to have to visit your neck of the woods again. Only this time without a clipboard to do a network audit on the town bank.
That is one awesome SLQ. Great condition and very good clear date. I don't have a single silver quarter so can you make a hay pile bed for me to stay LoL.
