15th Silver of 2009 recovered last night

Nothing beautiful or special, but it's my 15th silver of the year. Twelve of the silvers are dimes, and the other 3 are quarters.
Considering I haven't gotten to detect too much the last couple of years, I'm pretty satisified with this year.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I wasn't meaning to knock the Mercury at all! I love 'em! It is probably my favorite coin from the 1900's.

Being on the hunt for that ever elusive Seated coin that has eluded my capture, I was really hoping that #15 would be special. As the saying goes, "when you least expect it". Hopefully one will turn up soon!
