Honestly I can't figure for sure what this date is...it appears to be the newer 5 style? or is it just a 4
I can't say for certain so I seek others in what they see.

1715. The left upper angle of the would be 4 is not acute enough to be a 4 in my opinion.

Try putting a pice of paper over it and lightly scribble over it. You might get a better image of the date that way
