I think you should go back...and soon, That buckle is what we call a double loop asymmetrical buckle, and dates 1575-1700s a good find :icon_thumleft:

That's a small strap buckle, and could be use for many applications, but more important to you is you have a very early Colonial buckle date, which dates your site :icon_thumleft:
