They just disced the field across the street so I went to see what I could find. Not much but did find the little 17th century asymmetrical buckle. Not much to most but a great find to a colonial buckle nerd like myself. If Im not digging silver or gold then I want a complete colonial buckle. I could tell my son was excited for me when I brought it home and he said “looks like a pulltab”. lol He’s right but most people just dont get our passion for the hobby

Lol! While he is "technically" right, the "pull tab" you found is awesome! For size reference, is it similar to a pull tab in size too?

Yeap, I often get a similar response from the farmers 'looks like a bit of rubbish'....lol

Seeing the incredible items you post on here, I can about imagine the look you give them when they say it too. Probably similar to the "jaw on the floor" look I give my phone when I see the majority of your posts.

Enjoy your "rubbish"!!

Thanks.
If it doesn't look like rubbish, you then get the most often heard question of; 'Whats it worth'. Then I have to reel out my speech about how irrelevant that is to me. I'm just glad I'm not them.
