Found this today at a foundation hole we have done about 50 times. Coin was in the inside wall of the foundation. Obverse says "Georgivs III, DEI GRATIA". Reverse has a crowned shield with the letters-- M-R-E-ET-H-R-REX-F-D-B-ET-L-D-S-R-I-A-TETE, and a date of 1800. The entire rim of the coin, on both sides, has a wreath design. The letters are the best I can make out, but I believe they are correct. Coin seems to be made of copper, and is the exact size of a quarter, and is VERY thin. I also found a 1787 "MuttonHead" variety Conn. Copper last night in the "Button Field". Am still in the process of cleaning and will post later. That one is in kind of rough shape. I hope someone can ID this for me. Thanks Hogge.
