1800's brass german fire helmet

Think I lucked out. I went to a little garage sale and spotted a different looking helmet off to the side. It's got some dents but it's complete and I got it for only $5 dollars not knowing anything about it. Later with a bit of research I believe its a old German fire helmet. Maybe a parade type? It looks original from what I can tell. Maybe someone on here can tell me more. I'm not worried about the five bucks regardless.

I'm still getting the dust off. Where ever it's been sitting it has been there awhile. Haha
