1820's US Button

We recently went back out to the old Taveren we have been working and I found this button around 6''-7'' We know the Tavern was ther prior to 1835 setting near an intersection of two roads and a water source. We have found Spanish Reals there along with pre-civil war and post war bullets. This button appeares to be from around 1820-1835 and was a standard general service coat button. If anyone has a little more information please let me know. Its not everyday you recover an item thats nearly 185 years old. Thanks

Great job. Hope I can locate some "hot" spots like that looking at old Athens, GA insurance maps overlain on Google earth photos. Maybe find 1800's relics and coins.

If I even have half the luck of most postings, I'll be in heaven.
