1828 13 star variety not as scarce as the 1828 12 star variety. Still there was not a whole lot of those made .Looks like It's in great dug condition ,How did the reverse hold up ? To bad it has been holed. Still a very nice find :icon_sunny: MaineRelic

Thats a beautiful coin Hank! The ground was very kind to that one. In 20 years of relic hunting I have only found one half-cent. They seem to be very scarce in the Carolinas.
