Nice Dime.

Unfortunately on older coins like that
the Premium would be low,
as Errors happend alot more then they do these days.

I love errors but I agree with Jeff. You will see a lot of rotations in older dates. Especially in the large cents. Nice coin though. It is worth around $50-$60.

It is definetly an error. It is just worth more on certain coins. If you pulled a 2007 cent out of your pocket and it was rotated 50%, it would be worth a lot of money. Possibly even 10% could be worth a lot. They don't make a lot of mistakes these days minting coins.

Thanks oldplacesnofinds....I posted in another thread about reading that a large percentage - 30-40%? of mercury dimes having rotated reverses of anywhere from a few to 45 degrees...I checked a few I have and sure enough, some are...any info about this?

There are a lot of Mercs with this. Coin dealers rarely even put it on the 2x2's because it is so common. If they do put it on it is just to attract the attention of buyers who do not know about it. I still find them to be neat and marked them as they are.

I saw your other post on this coin. It is no higher than a F-15. There just isn't enough detail. It is a beauty and I wish I would find a Capped.. or a Seated or a Barber! Got some Mercs though. Great find either way.
