LOL I know what you mean! Actually it was down about 3-4" in a tall grassy area. This is a 1st for me..that's for sure!

That is a very sweet find indeed !!! - I too am an MXT guy , did that give you a VDI of 88/90

You got it....the MXT read a solid 88 with a lovely "ping" to boot!

First and foremost, congratulations on a stellar find! That is one beautiful coin! :headbang: Secondly: How dare you cheat us out of a good digging story? :'( A find of this caliber is deserving of at least 10 lines of text. Not just a "got out today, found this, thanks for looking." It's a little too cold for me to hunt today, so I'm trying to get my digging fix by reading these posts. :laughing9: Spice it up a little next time.
