1841 Half Dime

Not todays find , but from last Monday . Went scouting below Dalton and on the way back decided to hit a place to scare up a bullet or two . Well , no bullets showed up but did find this .

Awesome seated half dime. Looks like it was somebody's lucky coin they drilled out for a necklace but you know what they say....Finders keepers and it is a keeper. WTG!

Now thats the picture i been waiting on, I knew that you would put it up sooner or later, A great find my good friend.
As for the hole,If you ever saw one up close and personal, you know how small they are, I feel like it was sewn into a garment
or onto a neckless so as to not lose it, from the date it could have been carried by a soldier and lost during the battle of Tilton,
