Got out last night for a quick hunt at a new spot. Finds were few and far between. Did scape up a couple of nice finds though.
For some reason my machine was not acting right???? Could not get any good signals, even the coins i got didn't seem to come in right.
Wonder if leaving them in the truck is messing them up????
Anyway I was happy with the hunt.
Not sure if this is a state copper or just a regular KG111. Any help would be great.
Thanks for looking.
George

Two nice sounding high tones that I'm sure had you excited George. Save the silver for next time .....

Nice finds, ground must be very acidic to do a 1951 that way. Cool coins.

Good looking finds George. You didn't mention the button. Is it pewter?

You left out the fact that tylerbdad was there with you in order to rub those coins on his shiny suit! Nice finds.

Nice finds George. As you know my day wasn't as fruitful despite my easiest coin only being 13 years newer that your half cent. I have a theory about new ground: it's new. Between the excitement of a new site, new background noises, and new depths, were bound to need some sort of adjustment period. I'm really hoping that's the case for my new spot;) lol

Wow... I always look forward to what you dig up next... Those are two great coins. I've found one 1809 half cent and two toasted ones. They seem like a hard coin for me to find in okay condition around here.

Interested in hearing what people say about leaving equipment in vehicles. This time of year I always take my detectors out of my car or truck since they get so hot... I don't know for sure, but feel like that heat might damage something. In the spring and fall I'll leave detectors in there though.

Thanks Dave, yes I believe it is.
Cant believe the shape of it, considering the shape of the coppers
