Ok city parks finds I will share gladly. Private property hunts do not even get a mention here. September I have a great hunt scheduled. I dont just coin hunt, I like to dig relics also. Nothing like clearing the floor of a 100 plus year rock house the wood floor has rotted away long ago. I hope to start on privy digging also.Being disabled my energy level has been down and I just got back out there.

Ok, so if I understand you correctly you were hesitant to post this for fear that you might not be believed due to the condition and that is why you titled the thread the way you did?

If I misinterpreted what you meant I apologize.

Doubter that is one of the reasons. My friends know me. They know I find the coins if there is any to be found. But again, old copper coins dont hold up that well. I should post some of my other finds that are too good to be true. I have video of finds. But not sure how to turn the location off. I have had private property's raided by accidently posting the locations. I should also post dome of the damage I am finding in the parks too. But I dont like to bring things about the hobby in a bad light.

I think the reason for the condition is it was in someones collection until recently when some kid
lost it at the park.
Still a Legit Find that I'd like to make :laughing7:

Hrmmmm,,, what things NOT to post anywhere on the internet ??

That is a LARGE list now. With monitoring by big-brother.

I would definitely NOT post

1. Large finds
2. Finds in or from questionable locations
3.Threats
4. ANTHING kid/sex related
5. Certain weapon discussions
6.Any serious anti-government ravings

Even under TOR and I2P,,, unless you are extremely careful,, you can and will be tracked. Same as anywhere else. Supposedly when the Silk Road was taken down the Feds remarked that they had cracked TOR,, I find this highly unlikely. I think someone just got very sloppy and they were lucky enough to find it (the servers main IP address).

There are MANY things though you CAN do to "protect" your online activities. People ask why if I am not doing anything wrong.
I look at it like this,, There is 50000 new LAWS passed every year,,so believe this,,EVERYONE IS "guilty" of something,,MULTIPLE times every day.
Besides,, who wants to be tracked just so advertising can bombard us with with ads we do not want. All just because we searched for something,,or to price a car part?
If you guys want I can put together a pretty good "package" of tips and software to post in a new thread that SHOULD help keep your online activities from being monitored. I even have cell phone stuff that is good,,,(Yea,, this is very important)
Because even with GPS OFF,,, your physical location can STILL be found. (Oh I wish for my old "bag" analog cell phone).

Anyway,,, USE DISCRETION when posting online,,

Hit

Casca thanks for the explanation on that beautiful coin. We certainly see coins that obviously we're never in the dirt posted at times. The satisfaction of returning that coin will far outweigh the satisfaction of having it in your collection. The karma that comes from returns is very real. I returned a class ring and gold wedding band last fall. One week later a 1652 pine tree shilling and 1664 cob showed up under my coil. So good luck with finding the sad kid that lost that. Great choice on the machine as well. I have a T2 SE and an F75 Ltd camo edition
