Went back to the cellar hole that gave up an 1860's powder flask awhile back. It's full of nails and pieces of junk iron, so it's slow going. But I managed to pull out a decent looking 1864 Indian head cent, a tiny piece of a colonial shoe buckle and two flat buttons. Not a bad day for a spot I've done at least 20 times.

Very nice finds! I l-o-v-e love that 1864 IHP. Not sure why, but they have been a favorite coin since i was very young. Congrats on what looks like as great time!!

Thanks, guys! The IHC was my first coin at this spot. Thought maybe someone had detected it before me, but I guess not. Either that or they gave up due to all the junk signals. It does pay to be stubborn in this hobby!
