***1870's pistol, indian, silver, pile wheats, relics***

yesterday Bell-Two drove up to hunt with me and we started in a field where a one room school house was tore down yrs ago. We both scored an indian there and after that not much else.

We drove around found an old farm house and knocked on the door and secured permission. This place was literally a wheat field.....almost every strip I did had one or more wheats. Got tired of digging them...lol
The pistol is an 1870s colt 22 caliber. The reason I know is I dug an EXACT one last yr and it was ID'd by a couple people on another forum. It came in like a wheat signal at 4" but turned out to be the pistol and 8" inches. I think last find there was Jesus. I would have rather had a silver Jesus, but will have to settle for an aluminum one..lol

Finally after what seemed like a million wheats, I nabbed the 64 rosie.
We then went to a second house where I got the pocket watch pieces 1923 merc and more wheats....it was a great day hunting with Tony, lots of fun!

The pocket pistol is a great find! I found the exact same one last year as well. There's a serial number on the grip that you can use to get an exact date from the Colt website.

Cool finds , only pistols I ever find are the play ones made of lead .... I see you have some 22 cal. riffle parts in the pile to on the first pic at the top .... I have a good collection of those from various sites....

Great hunt and cool find with the pistol grip. Do you research these places or just try random fields?
