I had an unbelievable Friday night! I found 2 CC dimes. I made the mistake of cleaning the back of the 1873. The 1875 has the mint mark in the middle. A beautiful 1888 seated S quarter. An 1897 Barber dime!

My friend found an 1857 1/2, 1871 CC dime, and another seated dime! I did not picture my friends finds. D29298E1-24EC-4D12-9E54-AA13FF68EB4A.jpeg F4FEFCEA-8310-4C7E-82AC-C4999B9CD569.jpeg DBF10020-61E2-41B0-9BE5-1CB2C154B96C.jpeg 4ECA06D5-89BD-470E-92F6-57CD09D162F0.jpeg

Wow! a '71CC and a '73CC found on the same hunt? :notworthy: Those are some rare dimes! The 73CC is 14 times more rare than a 1916D. The 71CC is 13 times more rare. Banner finds in my book, and my vote is in. :icon_thumright:

1871-CC and 1873-CC are both big-time rarities, potentially worth thousands of dollars, even in dug condition. Is that 1874 dime a CC as well? If so, you (or your friend) just dug the rarest Liberty Seated dime!

1875-CC is actually a fairly common date in the dime series, but still a nice find that I'd take any day.

The 74 has no mint mark. I’m assuming Philadelphia mint.

Congratulations on an awesome hunt. I have found five seated coins, all common dates, in 2 years and consider myself lucky. I can't imagine finding all those coins, especially with those mint marks, in one hunt. Great job!.

Damn...that's one incredible spot you have there. Congrats on all of those beautiful seated ladies ( and the Barber too). I've put in a lot of hours detecting this season, and haven't managed even one seated coin. I tip my hat to you!

dang that's awesome. Being in Carson City, each time you dig a coin could be a potential winner.
