Wow, that dime is in fantastic condition for a dug coin.

Congrats on the beautiful CC Dime ! :occasion14:

Carson City coins are really rare this far East - I'm in Ohio.
I found my first one last season - only took me 14 years !
Mine is a 1877 CC Dime and it's also in great condition like yours - both would probably grade very fine or extra fine.

Good Hunting !

Nice going on the CC silver!!! Is it by chance a off center strike on the obverse of the dime? It sure looks it by your pic.

Does your Jokes tin say. To All Great.

Had a good hunt yesterday, going back this am!! Found in Colorado mining town. Pretty excited about this coin, any idea what the jokes is? It was folded up and is thin.
Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks for the posts, I'll have to look at that coin closer when I have time! I hope it is a misstrike. Found some good stuff yesterday and am going out again!! Someone identified the perfume tin!!!

Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.

Congrats on CC! 🥳Not an easy mint mark to dig. Yours is in much better shape than mine. Dug a pretty corroded 1877cc about a 10 months ago. A little electrolysis helped the obverse come out better but the front was starting to get iffy. Any one can clean. Not everyone knows when they reach the point of diminishing return.

I'm excited to clean it a little, but I'll put it away for now. One of my nicer coins! Never thought I would dig one, especially that old.
