1885 v nickek key date

Dug a 1885v nickel today.I had no idea this was a key till i looked it up in book.Course i wasn't even sure it was a v nickel till i soaked it a few hours.And as you can see it has a few days of soaking to go.Tried several times to improve scan but that is best i could do.Ugly bugger but so was the 1916d merc i got a few years back.And this was in same hole as the 191? buffalo nickel.Best find of the day.Also got a sterling ring and silver rosey.Makes up for the hornets nest i stepped in.Now if my arm would just stop iching from the stings.

that's a nice old V unfortunately it being a key date isn't going to mean much in it's condition
