Went out for half an hour today just to check out a new section of woods i've been hunting for a while. I came across this section that looks as if it were an old road with old trees lining it on either side, while antler shed hunting. Went back there today since the snow is pretty much melted away and right off the bat, I found the 1889 V-nickel. Just a few minutes later I found the IH at only 2" deep. Looks like this might be a productive site. Going back there tomorrow for a few hours with D-Dub, hopefully we can pull out some oldies. I'll post pics tommorow with todays finds and tomorrows finds(if we find something).

Get out there and find that silver in them thee hills of Illinois!
HH!

2" deep Indians means there's probably some Seated around there.
Good luck when you get back there!!

Good to hear from you. Let me know where you're hunting and I'll make sure I don't waste my time there ;D
