Yep....we have all scratched a coin while getting it outta the ground....don't like it, but it does happen. Still a very nice find...congrats to ya. Sometimes when you include a short story of how ya found the item, it helps to form a picture in our heads so we can enjoy the find with ya. Just a thought for your next post. :hello:

I found it in small town I grew up in.Homeowner gave us permission and told us how it used to be funeral parlor in early 1900s.I immediately got excited because it would of definantly had lots of traffic.My buddy began finding a lot of early wheats and then found indian.I began doing sidewalk up to house 3 feet from front door I got a strong signal 6 inches down and I got excited.In my excitement I got a little careless and in a hurry.I saw that beautiful shine every detector knows when they see silver.I could of done flips when I saw front and knew it was barber and quarter to boot!
