1900's medicine bottles

I have a pretty good bit of early 1900's medicine stuff from bottles to syringes.
My favorite is a strychnine sulphate bottle with with 99&1/2% label intact. its over 3/4 way full still its S.E. Massengill Company. cork is intact but top of cork is broke off. I also have the big amber apothecary bottles several of those. I have a medium-large size amber bottle has poison embossed vertically and label on front antiseptic disc. all are same company. I have 2opium bottles both with label these are one s.e. masengil the other lilly I ahve Tonsillitis follicular bottle with cork and stamp on top with little less than 1/4 pills still inside. a bottle with cute stopper thats clear and so is bottle with 1/4 product still in it with label. can you tell me how much these are worth and who I could sell them too. im attaching a picture of some of them, Thank you so much!!!!

Hello Melissa,

Welcome to TNet, and thanks for showing us your nice group of vintage labelled bottles.

Opiates and poisons are quite collectible and often do surprisingly well @ electronic auction. Here's a couple recent completed sales:

Antique Poison Strychnine Sulphate Bottle | eBay

Strychnine Sulphate Bottle | eBay

Shipping that Hydrochloric acid with contents would invite lots of paper work, scrutiny & possible headache. I am unaware of issues that might arise with the Strychnine & Opioid contents...

How'd you come upon these?

My ex boyfriend an I was walking on some land he had leased to hunt on and wound up way back on it and ran across this old shack it was clear noone had been in it for a very long time the briars around it was huge. anyway this stuff was in it. There was a house nearby that had fallen completely in. again no vistors in long time. We ask the man he leased it from whos was it an all he said that property was in limbo the man apparently had no family or if he did they didnt live around here and could care less what happened to it. the driveway was barely visable wouldnt have noticed it if we hadnt been lookin
