1900's Trash Pit = Bottles Tools Relics Gun

Hello All. Btoots and I dug another early 20th century trash pit discovered several weeks ago. The site has yielded finds from the mid-1800's into the 1950's on previous hunts.

This trash pit must have been in or near the out building because it was full of tools including the ones shown, (20) or more files, and various other rusted out hand tools.

Dug my third gun part, breech of an old shot gun, and some interesting tools and bottles.

Too hot out to dig the entire pit but we will return. Thanks to Btoots for the original permission on this site. He came away with some nice bottles and other keepers.

Hatchet heads are always great.
I like the nail puller. Was a time I would have liked to tossed one in a pit rather than keep using it..l.o.l..
