Scored a silver 1903 Newfoundland dime today! Doing well this year on Newfoundland coins....lots of silver and large cents...Just thought I'd post this one.

Newfoundland coins were not minted on a yearly basis like most coins. They were only minted when there was demand and as a result there were shortages of coins at times. Before this 1903 NF dime was minted, it was 7 years since the last dime was produced , that being 1896. Just thought I'd add that tidbit on the history of our coins. Newfoundland coins were minted from 1865 to 1947. HH.
