1909 Chicago Vehicle Tax License and a little bit of glass

Been a slow year and I don’t post much anymore, but I thought I would post this little brass item that I think is neat. I don’t recall ever seeing one posted here.
Unfortunately it came out of the hole in two pieces


i also did some probing and opened up a couple shallow trash pits. Mostly broken and slick medicines.
Nothin special, but I did get a couple embossed pieces.
