Today I went with Kenpa and Johnymc To an old spot we have pounded for years. Of course I took the new explorer SE and did pretty well. First target was a 1909 D Barber dime, The second was a 1913 D Buffalo nickle. and then finally an awesome 1898 Barber half.
nice day with Friends and got some good coins also.

Thanks ken for the transportation...
Thanks all for looking.

Beautiful coins. Drop the buff in Worchestire sauce overnight and it will lighten up to look like new.

What a "Killer" day!!

Congrats on all your coin finds!

The SE can sure find them when all other machines have been through a site.
You might have missed a few even with the SE if that was your first time using the machine there. Go back another time just to be sure!!

Hey Captn

this site is a very large area, it would take many many days to cover it all. but i will be going back a few times...I have so many sites I need to go visit again now with the new machine, and after yesterday I am pretty excited about it...I still have to get use to the SE because it is very different from the XLT...

Thanks all for the great comments.... H.H. TnT

Great finds, I have always said that the back of a Barber Quarter is one of the best looking coins
that America ever made. Congrats on the Buffalo, really nice.

I would keep the XLT, it will always be a great back up detector.
