Hunted two spots today. One house was from around 1940 but I only found 1960's and 1970's pennies dimes and quarter. A ky lotto banko token. Then the next place was early 1900's. where I found the rest of my dig. I was pleased.
Thanks. You know, some guys online say they dig every target but the place where I got that penny and suspender clip and military button and other suspender clip from before has so many targets it would take a team to hit it up all weekend. My detector isn't the best but it seems to do a good job filtering out iron. Do you guys dig iron too? Just to see?
Lovely selection of finds there. Love the suspender buckle. If I am hunting a spot I know I will be working for extended hunts I try to remove all the iron. If it's a one time hunt I will pass it over. In my home town where I hunt frequently I like my permissions to be whisper quiet after I have hunted them several times. I dig loads of trash in search of those deep whispering signals. Nice hunt once again.
Thanks a lot. Well then I'll take your advice and hunt it all because this is a virgin spot on my family's farm. Have you or you guys ever found some nice coins from an iron signal?
