I found this the other day with my M6. I was searching a residence that I was told dates back to the late 1600's. Found this at approx. 4" deep. No coins yet but I thought that this was kinda cool.

That's a nice find. I wonder when they started requiring the registration of dogs in NY? That's pretty early, and I'm sure has some collector value.
