1936 Mercury Dime Cracked Planchet?

I've been trying to brush up on my general error knowledge, and today I realized that I may have had one staring me in the face for years. I've always dismissed the split in this dime as malicious PMD, but could it be a cracked planchet? Both the obverse and reverse are cracked, and the lines appear slightly irregular for a pair of shears. Here is the coin at naked eye and 10x:

It's so worn that it is difficult to tell whether the strike is weaker in the details surrounding the potential crack. What do you guys think?
