Went to follow up on a permission, 1740 house that the owner had told me he had to touch base with the wife. He said I could as long as someone was at the property, so I said how about now and he let me detect for about a half hour before they left.
I hope to go back and find more, the little bit I did didn't really have many targets for a place as old as that. The owners have only been at that house for 14 years, plenty of time before they owned it for people to have hit a place like that. I'll try and get pix of the spread, there are some trees there that are easy over two hundred years old. I barely scratched the surface. I could not resist doing around those trees, still have to do the clothesline!
Thanks everyone, I took a long ride today, knocked on allot of doors, allot of nobody answering the door and allot of no answers. I feel like a very unsuccessful vacuum cleaner door to door salesman. Haaaaaaaaaa, I'm headed out for one of the shore towns now with my better half, little beach hunting.
