I have a ton of 1943p war nickels saved up over the years, I should get around to checking for that error/variety... great job spotting yours :)

Score! Nice find. Probably too low of grade to be worth slabbing, but still an awesome find. Congrats!

Eyeball the details, such as the pillars, Jefferson's cheekbone and hair, and check eBay for what they're selling for slabbed and unslabbed. If it's worth it...do it!

Looks like only 3 pillars are faintly visible, so maybe not worth slabbing.

Same here, I got a ton of 1943 P's I haven't ever checked.
Along with that, I have over a hunderd 1939 nickels I put aside into rolls. Have to go thru those for double monticello. Betcha there's at least one in there.

Do you have many 38-d, 38-s, 39-d nickels?

I don' tsee the 2 under the 3. What am I missing?

This variety is a funny overdate. The only really noticeable feature is that the bottom end of the 3 extends extremely toward the middle arm of the 3.

Cherry Picker's Guide states "this variety is very difficult to sell below About Uncirculated."

I definitely wouldn't have it slabbed. Your best bet is probably Ebay.
