1943-S War nickel ~ 1963-D Silver dime ~ and a STERLING "what's it"!

I got to get out for a couple hours after work tonight. I ended up with a little bit of clad, but the best items I dug was a 1943-S War nickel, 1963-D Silver dime, and a little clip thingy marked "STERLING". I thought it was a cufflink at first ~ but it's hinged like one of those hair clip things that little girls wear. I also dug a cute little Snoopy trinket (aluminum).

The funny thing about the silver dime is that I found it outside of a freshly dug plug from a previous detectorist! They must have detected it, dug for it, and couldn't find it!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

The symbol is french called a flor de Lee ( not sure of the spelling) The N.O. Saints have them on their helmets. Sometimes people don't rescan their plugs or holes Their loss is your gain amigo ;D Nice digs

That's crazy about your broken arm/hand! Velada told me about it the other day! I hope your feeling better ~ does is hurt very bad?

Hopefully you'll be OK to go detecting when you get over here to Oregon ~ I'm trying to get some places in-line for us!

C-ya later!
