Hmmm... good finds! I just happened to find a 1956 wheaty in my backyard as well! I'm in SoCal. The house dates back to 1972.

I have found 3 1956 wheats now. Going to research and try to find out which years had most minted

Way to go. Those are two nice wheat pennies. Check out some low tone sounds and you may dig a nickel.

I found several wheats in my grandparents yard and got the silver bug hardcore. I finally dug a quarter and had my fingers crossed but it was a 1965! One year off! Hahaha
