I can't tell from the pic. :icon_scratch:

Technically a cud will be found on the edge of a coin, though sometimes I still find myself referring to all those metal "blobs" as cuds. A raised portion of metal in the field would be the result of a "die chip" or called a "die state".

There are collectors for all of these so there could be some added value to the right buyer. Better pics might help someone with more current knowledge of error and die state values.

I have been finding discarded silver in the store counters also, can't really tell what it is but sounds like a die chip.. nice find :icon_thumright:
