Good afternoon. Asking for experts input. Wondering if this is a 1970-P quarter Wexler WDDO-001, or if it is of any variety. Thank you in advance!
Iā€™m not an expert, maybe I should sit this one out. Yours does not look like a ā€œdouble dieā€, which is my familiarity with Wexler. I have seen a few that were very obvious, they didnā€™t look like yours. I wish you luck, someone will have a better source of information than I can offer.

I know a little about double dies, but definitely not an expert on all intricacies of them. While looking at the example WDDO-001 and the error description and comparing it to yours, my gut says your quarter is just worn down and not a double die. I just don't see any notching in the upper left hand corner of the letters in "IN GOD WE TRUST". If I had to guess, your quarter is of the 25 cent variety. Someone else with more knowledge feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Your quarter to me looks to be one that has spent a lot of time going thru slot machines in Vegas.
