1970S DDO Variety

Anyone seen this type of doubling on the obverse of the 1970S cent. I have looked on several web sites but can't find one like this. The date and mint mark are doubled as well as the Liberty. It is hard to tell from the scans but the W in We is also doubled.

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like strike doubling, not DDO. Just my opinion.

I agree with the strike doubling. I have a few different dates that have some strike doubling. I will try to put up a few photos of what I have a little later when I get home from work.

That's what's so great about this forum. I learn something new every time I visit. You guys are right. I did some homework and now know the difference between MDD and DDO.

I have been doing more hoarding than collecting over the years. Just now finding the time to get into the collecting side. It's like drinking out of fire hose but I'm loving every minute.
