I was rolling some change and I found a coin I think just might have some value! As you've seen in the title it is a 1979 Susan b Anthony dollar coin. This one is marked p and also fg in the lower right. Has anyone got an idea of the value? I've included a picture of each side. Thanks!

In circulated condition like this your coin is only worth a dollar. There is a wide rim variety that has a little more value, but yours is the common narrow rim. The FG is the designers initials, Frank Gasparro. P, of course is for the Philadelphia mint.

Yes, indeed. Unless there is some kind of manufacturing defect, or mint error, that your images do not show, it is worth exactly $1.

When people offer them to me, I bring them down to earth by offering fifty cents.

Time for more coffee.

I get these when roll hunting. They are pretty common, unless it’s an error coin, as galenrog stated.
